Large Septarian Bear

This bear is carved out of the exquisite Septarian stone. Septarian was formed in an ancient sea floor over 50 million years ago. Unlike most geodes which are of volcanic origin, Septarians are sedimentary. The yellow center is formed by calcite crystals which are framed by brown aragonite crystals.

Each of these stone bears are hand carved. Allow for variations. Each one is unique
