(Healing Sanctuary) - Leave your anxiety, tension, stress and fear at the gate and enter a Healing Sanctuary of relaxing and releasing sound in this gorgeous release from mystical flutist, Dean Evenson. In this serene space, personal or even planetary turmoil will lose their grip on the psyche as gentle waves of peace wash over the listener. Flutes, harps, keyboards and guitars gently drift in and out, creating tranquil soundscapes that are perfect for the healing arts, meditation, relaxation and sleep time. From the opening track, the listener is immersed in Peace Like a River and worldly concerns quickly seem to vanish like a distant shoreline, leaving the listener Quietly Floating Home in the soothing sounds and subtle energies of true serenity. In this place of spirit, one can connect to the healing forces of the universe and focus them on the outer world or Mending Your Own Mind, where this release leaves us. Immediately upon hearing Healing Sanctuary, I placed it in the #1 slot of my sleep-time music set, the slot that carries me into dream and I've found it sets the mood for deeply relaxing sleep and expansive dreams. Easily, one of Dean's best works, Healing Sanctuary receives my highest recommendation to all lovers of beautiful and relaxing new age music
